BEHRINGER China is in search of an experienced and analytical leader who can help manage, coordinate and build strong communication channels among the design teams, conceptual teams and manufacturing teams in support of new products as they are released into the extensive BEHRINGER product line as well as provide on-going support of existing products.

Job Purpose: To manage RnD organization with emphasis on the China-based engineering team

Responsibilities

  • Manage a multi-national RnD organization to design new audio products from concept to mass production
  • Establish the product development processes, and to provide technical leadership to all engineers
  • To participate concept reviews and help to complete product requirement documents
  • Develop department goals, technology road maps, determine resource requirements, build competencies, and manage budgets
  • Work with conceptual team on new product opportunities and technologies needed to successfully grow the business
  • Work with all areas within the company to continually enhance the product development process
  • Oversee the operation management to ensure communication between different RnD groups worldwide
  • Manage RnD employment review, promotion, and human resources development
  • Manage all RnD employees to make sure we provide a happy/team work working environment and to create an employment policy to fit the multi-national cultures
  • Cross departmental communication skill is required. These departments are RnD, operations, manufacturing, and conceptual group
  • Some travel will be required

Qualifications

  • Must have a BSEE degree and MSEEor higher degree is preferred
  • Must be fluent in Chinese and English

Experience

  • Minimum of ten years hardware/software design experiences in audio or related industry
  • Minimum of five years of Engineering management experience in China

Special Skills

  • Deep knowledge and understanding of business in Chinese and western cultures
