BEHRINGER China is in search of a world-class, seasoned Global Logistics VP. If you've got at least 10 years of manufacturing logistics experience, a firm command of English and Mandarin, and strong leadership skills, we'd like to hear from you!

Job Purpose: The VP of Global Logistics will oversee and manage our global fullfillment logistic service with proactive efficiency and seasoned insight

Responsibilities

  • Through planning, fulfillment, and delivery - Maintain a product fill rate in excess of 97.5% based on customer demand
  • Interact with production planning, the Companies sales divisional and major distribution partners to maintain an accurate demand forecast and applicable inventory levels
  • Dynamically and effectively manage inventory and provide aging reports, depletion rates and recommendations for adjustments of buffer stocks and critical inventory maintenance targets
  • Setup and review the strategy, processes and workflow of logistics areas
  • Establish clear KPI's for logistics function to meet the expectations of the company
  • Improve the management process and build efficient working teams in assigned areas
  • Generate and properly manage operating budgets and capital expenditure budgets of logistics area
  • Management and control of standard operating procedures
  • Cultivate subordinates to meet the requirement of the company's development
  • Conduct all logistics activities in a fashion consistent with the highest of professional ethics
  • Other jobs to be assigned by management

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree or above with major in logistics management or related fields
  • Candidates without a relevant degree but who can demonstrate extensive experience in this field will be considered

Experience

  • At least 10 years working experience in large-scale (min 200 staff) manufacturing logistics, with a minimum of 5 years in management. The candidate must demonstrate extensive experience in demand forecasting and dynamic inventory management of finished goods for outbound international distribution

Special Skills

  • Excellent command of spoken and written English as well as Mandarin
  • Advanced knowledge and experience of demand forecasting methodology and tools such as DMS Demand Solutions Forecasting
  • Familiarity with consumer/audio electronic products will be an advantage but not an absolute necessity
  • SIX Sigma or Lean SIX Sigma experience will be an advantage but not an absolute necessity
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Advanced knowledge of legislation and regulation related to logistics areas
  • Strategic thinker: uses creative and innovative problem solving approach
  • Familiar with ERP system in manufacturing industry
